How to clean artificial grass?

An artificial lawn is an investment, and many of our customers want to know how to clean artificial grass to keep it looking its best.

We recommend you regularly pick up any large debris, like twigs or rubbish, by hand. Use a broom or plastic rake to brush your grass

How long does artificial grass last?

Your artificial lawn is built to last and, with the right care, can last from anywhere between 8 - 20 years! Investing in quality grass from

While your grass is quite close to being maintenance-free, it's important to make sure you periodically manage your grass to ensure
it has a long lifespan and you get the best from it. So how to maintain artificial grass? We suggest regular, light maintenance of your
grass to keep leaves and debris from building up, coupled with using weed killer a few times a year. Make sure you keep heat away
from your grass, such as BBQs or fire pits, and be sure to clean up any pet waste from your grass and hose it down if neccessary.

Can you hoover artificial grass?

It might be tempting to get your hoover out and whizz it over your artificial grass. But the simple answer to 'can you hoover
artificial grass?' is... we'd recommend not to. Your grass is tough, but by using a vacuum you run the risk of damaging the grass
fibres. You also are likely to suck up the infill sand that has been used to lay your turf! So, although it might seem tempting,
we recommend not to hoover your artificial grass.
